本プログラムを通じ、企業とのビジネスマッチングや国内外のネットワークを活用し、当社が提供する量子AIクラウドサービス「AQCloud」の導入機会およびユースケースの拡大を目指します。大企業との協業を促進することで、量子技術や数理最適化技術を企業の具体的な業務課題の解決につなげ、社会実装をさらに加速してまいります。
■採択の背景と目的
企業を取り巻く環境が複雑化する中、生産計画、配車・配送、人員配置など、膨大な選択肢から最適な計画を導き出す必要性が高まっています。一方、量子技術をはじめとする先端技術を実際の業務へ導入するためには、技術の検証にとどまらず、現場の課題に即したユースケースの設計や、導入企業との継続的な連携が不可欠です。
A Star Quantumは、量子コンピューティング技術、数理最適化技術、高速データ処理技術を活用し、企業の複雑な計画業務や意思決定を支援してきました。
今回の採択を機に、Q-STARの会員企業やPlug and Play Japanのパートナー企業などとの接点を広げ、新たな業務課題の発掘、ユースケースの創出、実証および導入に向けた協業を進めます。各社が持つ事業知見と当社の技術を組み合わせることで、量子技術を企業の現場で活用できるソリューションとして展開してまいります。
■量子スタートアップ支援プログラムについて
本プログラムは、Q-STARとPlug and Play Japanが、日本における量子エコシステムのさらなる発展を目的として、量子技術を活用した事業展開を目指すスタートアップを支援する取り組みです。
採択企業には、Q-STARの会員企業やPlug and Play Japanのパートナー企業とのビジネスマッチング、国内外の投資家との接点、広報支援に加え、事業戦略、採用、知的財産などに関する伴走支援が提供されます。

■今後の展開
A Star Quantumは、本プログラムで得られる企業とのネットワークや知見を活用し、量子AIクラウドサービス「AQCloud」のさらなる事業展開を進めます。

A Star Quantum Selected for the Q-STAR × Plug and Play Quantum Startup Support Program
Accelerating real-world quantum adoption through collaboration with leading enterprisesTOKYO, Japan - A Star Quantum Inc. (“A Star Quantum”), a provider of the quantum AI cloud service AQCloud, has been selected as one of five startups for the second cohort of the Quantum Startup Support Program organized by the Quantum STrategic industry Alliance for Revolution (“Q-STAR”) and Plug and Play Japan K.K. (“Plug and Play Japan”).
Through the program, A Star Quantum will pursue new business-matching and collaboration opportunities across Q-STAR’s corporate membership and Plug and Play Japan’s global network. The company aims to expand the adoption and use cases of AQCloud by combining its quantum computing, mathematical optimization and high-speed data-processing technologies with the business expertise and real-world challenges of participating enterprises.
■Purpose of Participating in the Program
As business operations become increasingly complex, companies need to make better decisions across areas such as production planning, vehicle routing and delivery, workforce scheduling and resource allocation.
Moving advanced technologies such as quantum computing from research into business operations requires more than technical validation. It also requires close collaboration with companies to identify practical challenges, design relevant use cases and create solutions capable of delivering sustainable business value.
A Star Quantum has supported companies in addressing complex planning and decision-making challenges using quantum computing, mathematical optimization and high-speed data-processing technologies.
Through its participation in the program, A Star Quantum will expand its engagement with Q-STAR member companies and Plug and Play Japan’s corporate partners. The company will work with enterprises to identify new operational challenges, develop use cases and pursue opportunities for proof-of-concept projects and commercial deployment.
■About the Quantum Startup Support Program
The program is an initiative jointly organized by Q-STAR and Plug and Play Japan to support startups developing businesses based on quantum technologies and to further strengthen Japan’s quantum ecosystem.
Selected startups will receive support including business matching with Q-STAR member companies and Plug and Play Japan’s corporate partners, introductions to domestic and international investors, public-relations support, and mentoring in areas such as business strategy, recruitment and intellectual property.
